Summary:
- Radiopaedia case ID: 85395
- Image ID: 54124275
- Image stack position: 2/8
- Plane projection: Long and short axis images
- Modality: Ultrasound
- System: Musculoskeletal
- Findings: There are two hypoechoic muscle slips crossing the Guyon's tunnel. They have a common origin in the midline wrist and extend to the ulnar palmar region to join the abductor digiti minimi muscle. The two slips encase the patent ulnar artery. The deeper slip separates the ulnar artery from the ulnar nerve. The ulnar nerve shows a normal echopattern without edema.
