  • Findings: Enlarged uterus with marked thickening of the posterior junctional zone (thickness= 6 cm) seen as an ill-defined area of intermediate signal intensity on both T1WI, and T2WI with multiple small high T1WI/T2WI foci within. The right ovary shows a cystic lesion (4 x 3 cm) of high signal on T1WI/T1FS, a low signal on T2WI with no peripheral enhancement on postcontrast sequences. The left ovary shows also numerous cystic lesions, largest measures (3.9 x 2 cm) with same signal intensity.
