Summary:

Description
  • Radiopaedia case ID: 35133
  • Image ID: 12089507
  • Image stack position: 18/25
  • Plane projection: Sagittal
  • Aux modality: C+ portal venous phase
  • Study findings: A rather rounded solid soft tissue density right adrenal mass lesion that appeared slightly hypo-dense to the liver parenchyma and almost iso-dense to the renal cortex. No definite fat density or calcification seen within the mass. This mass showed early contrast enhancement then rapid wash out and there is a central hypo-dense non-enhancing area of possible breaking down.
  • Modality: CT
  • System: Urogenital
  • Findings: A 6.9 X 7.7cm solid mass lesion is seen at the anatomical site of the right adrenal gland being iso-echoic to the renal cortex and slightly hypo-echoic to the liver parenhcyma.
