  • Findings: Avulsion fracture of the  anterior cruciate ligament attachment invovling the majority of the tibial eminence with complete seperation of the fracture fragment. LCL is thickened & presented with areas of intermediate signal intensity in all pulse sequences along its course. mild to moderate intra articular joint effusion with hemorthrosis  (blood / fluid level) is noted. the opposing lateral femoral & tibial condyles as well as the opposing bones of proximal tibio-fibular articulation shows patchy areas of high STIR signal intensity.
