  • Findings: Large labral tear from 10 o'clock anteriorly to 6 o'clock (3 o'clock anterior), with detachment of the anteroinferior labrum and periosteum (soft tissue Bankart).  The glenoid is intact.  Tiny Hil-Sachs defect.  The superior labral tear involves the superior labrum from anterior to posterior (SLAP tear) with a horizontal tear extending from its origin into the proximal long head of the biceps tendon. The humeral insertion of the posterior inferior glenohumeral ligament (IGHL) is ill-defined and irregular with loss of the normal axillary pouch morphology in keeping with a posterior band HAGL. The rotator cuff tendons are normal and the musculature preserved.
