  • Findings: Frontal x-ray showing large radiopaque shadow seen involving both hilar regions, and radiating from the hila into the middle and lower lung zones causing thickening in the paratracheal stripes.Hilar vessels can be identified in both sides (hilar overlay sign), and the left aortic border can be identified as well, these indicate that the mass is mostly in the anterior mediastinum.Obliteration of the right costo-phrenic angle with meniscus sign indicating right-sided pleural effusion.
