  • Findings: There is an anechoic cyst in the popliteal fossa. Proximally; its neck is between semimembranosus and medial head of gastrocnemius tendons. Cyst shows pointed end distally with a leak of fluid in subcutaneous plane resulting in edema. There was no deep venous thrombosis ( images not uploaded ).
