CT confirms diffuse bronchial wall thickening, peripheral mucoid impaction and cystic bronchiectasis severely distorting the left lower lobe. Centrilobular nodules in a tree in bud distribution within the lower lobes are likely related to acute bronchial infection/aspiration.
