Description	Radiopaedia case ID: 30041 Image ID: 7593882 Study description: An unfortunate cases of a neglected left breast carcinoma. Study findings: The node that was aspirated at the time of the biopsy and the ultrasound appearance of the intra mammary part of the tumor. Modality: Ultrasound System: Breast Findings: A huge fungating cancer with extension out of the skin surface left breast. Secondarily infected wit visible necrotic tissue. On the mammogram you can see the gas in the tumor crater and the band aid used to cover the lesion. The nodes in the left axilla are pathological.
