Summary:

Description
  • Radiopaedia case ID: 29214
  • Image ID: 6976622
  • Image stack position: 4/10
  • Plane projection: Axial
  • Aux modality: T2
  • Study description: MRI Brain
  • Modality: MRI
  • System: Central Nervous System
  • Findings: This MRI brain demonstrates an extra-axial mass located in the left middle cranial fossa involving the left cavernous sinus with petroclival extension. The mass is T1 isotense and T2 hyperintense with vivid contrast enhancement. It causes narrowing of the left cavernous ICA. The mass also compresses the left temporal lobe and left pons. These features are suggestive of a cavernous sinus meningioma.
