Numerous tortuous vessels coursing over the surface and within the mass well visualized on FLAIR and T2 sequences. The adjacent transverse and sigmoid sinuses are patent. Surrounding vasogenic edema with tonsillar herniation and mass effect on the 4th ventricle and brainstem.
