Summary:

Description
  • Radiopaedia case ID: 44025
  • Image ID: 20996481
  • Image stack position: 57/82
  • Plane projection: Sagittal
  • Aux modality: bone window
  • Study description: Cervical spine - postoperative targeted exam
  • Modality: CT
  • System: Spine
  • Findings: Metallic disc prosthesis within the C3/4 intervertebral disc space showing normal alignment with the adjacent vertebral endplates. Small marginal osteophytes projecting in the basis of the left C3/4 intervertebral foramina do not cause significant stenosis. Small posterior central disc protrusions are demonstrated mildly indenting the dural sac anteriorly at the levels of C2/3, C4/5, and C5/6. The reminder spinal canal and intervertebral foramina are capacious. Minimal foci of surgical emphysema. Conclusion: Postoperative CT scan demonstrating normal position of the C3/C4 intervertebral disc prosthesis.
