It is abutting but not extending into the odontoid process and there is no involvement of the C2 vertebral body. It is extending into the vertebral canal with associated mild narrowing of the canal but it is not contacting the spinal cord. Conclusion: Solitary destructive lesion centered on the right anterior arch of the C1 vertebra.
