  • Findings: CT through the temporal bone demonstrates a soft tissue mass in Prussak's space which has eroded the scutum and erodes the ossicles and displaces them medially. The mass extends superiorly into the attic and appears to have eroded through the tegmentum as well as through the fallopian canal of the facial nerve, and perhaps the lateral semicircular canal. Findings are characteristic of an acquired cholesteatoma.
