  • Study findings: Selected MRI imaging through the occipital condyles and petrous apex demonstrates an enhancing soft tissue mass lesion with an accompanying mastoid effusion. There appears to be high T1 signal in the sigmoid sinus suggesting occlusion/thrombosis although on these very limited images it is difficult to confirm that this is the case.

  • Findings: Single coronal image trhought the dens and occipital condyles demonstrates a lytic destructive lesion involving the right occipital condyle.
