  • Findings: A segment of U-shaped dilated small bowel loop (3.5 cm in short axis) with two ends of transitional zones, in the central lower abdomen. Whirls of mesenteric vessels, and radiating engorged mesenteric vessels towards the points of obstruction. The involved mesenteric fat is blurred. Few proximal bowel loops are also dilated. No gross signs of ischemia. Few partially calcified stones within the gallbladder lumen. No gall bladder wall thickening. No pericholecystic fluid collection.
