  • Findings: Thoracic CTA shows a severe focal narrowing of descending thoracic aorta 30 mm below the origin of left subclavian artery with mild post-stenotic dilation of the proximal aorta. There are multiple collateral arteries (internal mammary, intercostal, para and prevertebral, subscapular) that supply lower body, and dilated superior thoracic and thoracoacromial arteries are seen. Superior indentation of the celiac trunk may be seen in normal people if imaging is acquired in expiration.
