  • Study findings: Axial scan shows a 'target appearance" of uterine inversion. On sagittal images, a well defined rounded mass (fibroid or adenomyosis) is seen at the uterine fundus which is seen inferiorly in the inverted uterus.

  • Findings: A heterogenous mass lesion arises from the uterine fundus. The uterine cavity seems inverted upside down. Calcific density is seen within the uterine cavity with no prior history of intra-uterine contraceptive device insertion.
