  • Findings: Single live intrauterine pregnancy, 28 weeks + 2 days based on previous US + LMP. The fetus is cephalic in presentation with the spine to the maternal right. The cervix measures 5.5 cm on transabdominal measurement. The placenta is anterior and fundal with the lower margin well clear of the internal os. There is no US evidence of placental abruption or retroplacental hemorrhage. The fetus is symmetrical in growth with a normal AFI (18.0cm) and normal S/D ratio (3); the EFW is 1436 grams. The fetal heart rate is 139 bmp. The fetus is biophysically well and breathing and normal movement is seen during the scan. Limited anatomical review was normal Conclusion: Normal US with no US evidence of placental abruption.
