USAID investments to conserve biodiversity in more than 50 countries help turtles like this little one run free to the sea, surpassing all obstacles. A WWF study indicates that turtle tourism brings almost three times more income than the sale of turtle products. Working together with the private sector, local governments, and communities to protect and promote sea turtle conservation will bring tourists to these areas as an income source. These efforts contribute to achieve our ultimate goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030. Additionally, leave a healthy and prosper environment to future generations. Tanzania.
