Summary:

Description
  • Description: Hidaya Omari is an onion farmer and para-professional in the Pare Diocese of Tanzania. As part of her para-professional work, she teaches onion farmers better farming techniques, as well as how to protect their families from malaria. Omari’s work is the third phase of a project aimed at ending malaria deaths. This phase adds a livelihood component to the malaria education and prevention, helping rural communities strengthen their incomes and food security through better farming practices and marketing of their crops.
