Summary
Description |
English: Lyssavirus host cell entry. Following attachment to host cell receptors, the virus particles are endocytosed via a clathrin- and dynamin- dependent pathway that requires actin polymerization for complete vesicle envelopment. The internalized uncoated vesicle then traffics to and fuses with the early endosome. The mildly acidic environment of the endosome triggers conformational changes within G that permits fusion of the viral and endosomal membranes and subsequent release of the nucleocapsid into the cytoplasm. |
